Christmas time

I'm looking forward to a good Christmas this year. It's very seasonal at home with three tastefully lit Christmas trees and lovely Victorian style decorations.
I'm feeling it's time to dust off my trusty old Canon 20D and get some photographs taken. I want to do more monochrome and even thought about using film again, but then I came back to reality. I was tempted because I was offered a nice Nikon for free, but then the cost of materials would soon bump up the price so I'll probably stay with digital.
My beautiful redheaded wife will have to become my model once more as I prefer people pictures in the main, and she is the perfect person

Where does the time go to?
Being in my caravan, I thought I would have plenty of time to take pictures and dabble with paint but, the need to make some money to live on, kind of creates a creative block.
I now have the tools to create clean carpets and upholstery lol. Maybe not that creative, but at least I will be able to eat!
